11th Annual Welcome To Jamrock Cruise
The global reggae experience returns with renewed purpose aboard Norwegian Joy as the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise sets sail once again, bringing together over 50 artists, DJs, and sound systems for five immersive days celebrating Jamaican music and culture. In the wake of Hurricane Melissa in 2025, the cruise makes a meaningful return to Jamaica, reconnecting with the island at the heart of the culture while uniting a worldwide community rooted in authenticity, connection, and a shared love of reggae. Co-founded and curated by Damian Marley and longtime manager Dan Dalton, Jamrock has grown into one of the most significant reggae events in the world and the premier reggae experience at sea, known for blending world-class performances with deep cultural engagement.
The 2026 lineup spans the full spectrum of reggae and dancehall, featuring artists such as Burning Spear, Sizzla, Capleton, Protoje, Barrington Levy, Elephant Man, and Lila Iké, alongside a powerful roster of sound systems including Stone Love, King Jammy Superpower, and Renaissance Sound. Beyond the music, Jamrock offers a fully immersive cultural experience with artist meet-and-greets, dancehall instruction, yoga and meditation sessions, Nyabinghi sunrise gatherings, and a live theatrical production directed by legendary Jamaican actor Oliver Samuels. Culinary programming is also elevated, with curated Jamaican cuisine led by award-winning Chef Lumley. More than just a cruise, Jamrock is a living expression of Jamaican culture on a global stage, drawing participants from over 50 countries while directly supporting Jamaica’s tourism and local economy through its unique two-port destination model and ongoing community impact.
