Jah9 releases 'Open Heart Project'

Jah9 has released The Open Heart Project, an eight-track set pairing four original songs with reinterpretations. The project arrives with a video for “Sacred Energy Xchange”.

The release draws from her extended stay in Tanzania during pandemic-era travel restrictions, where she immersed herself in the culture, deepened her spiritual focus, and birthed her first child.

The songs trace a relationship from first contact through disillusionment and reconciliation. Produced by Winta James, J.L.L., and Iotosh, each track is reimagined by Lisbon-based producer Shaka Lion, with Rorystonelove appearing throughout as MC.
