The long-awaited album Exile by Chronixx sent shockwaves across the Reggae-sphere. Teased earlier in the week by a social media post revealing the 17-song tracklist on Tuesday, October 6th, the project officially dropped on Friday, October 10th, 2025 — coinciding with Chronixx’s 33rd birthday.

Following his critically acclaimed 2017 debut Chronology, Exile finds Chronixx venturing into new sonic territory. Produced by Inflo — the award-winning producer behind SAULT, Michael Kiwanuka, Cleo Sol, and Adele — Exile fuses classic roots textures with rich soul influences and an experimental edge.

The sounds on this record refuse to sit within the traditional confines of one drop or roots reggae. Instead, Chronixx builds an adventurous soundscape steeped in the essence of rub-a-dub — raw, meditative, and forward-thinking.
