“TOMORROW” PRODUCED BY JALLANZO IS THE FIRST SINGLE FROM HIS UPCOMING 2020 ALBUM

Jah Sun, a long time West Coast reggae favorite teams up with one of Jamaica’s finest, the multi-talented Jallanzo. Mostly known for his diverse guitar styles with the band Dubtonic Kru, Jallanzo is also a prolific producer who has produced for many great artists such as Max Romeo, Lutan Fyah, Fantan Mojah and many more.

When Jah Sun’s deep and meaningful lyrical content meets Jallanzo’s unique production style the synergy between the artist and producer/composer is undeniable. Jah Sun enthusiastically states about the song, “When I walked into the studio and heard the piano riff and the haunting bubble of the organ, the lyrics just appeared in the ethers and I grabbed them.”

“Tomorrow” is the first single from the duo’s new project and the lyrics and feel of this song successfully captures the spirit of the times we are living in today.

Jah Cure delivers his eighth studio album, Royal Soldier, on Friday, August 30th, 2019.

The album tells a story about love, tempered by the realities of what it is to be a man in a complex world. Songs “Telephone Love” and “Risk it All,” which were previously released, spoke to ladies about love, while “Marijuana” catered to those who seek a higher meditation through the consumption of the herb.

Available today is the title track “Royal Soldier," inspired by the story of the richest black man in the world, Mansa Musa of Mali, Jah Cure sings about what it is to be a King on the battlefield who not only has to fight against physical entities, but spiritual battles as well.

Being the musical adventurer, Jah Cure is known to explore rhythms, such as what we hear on “Only You” featuring Mya, countered by the grit heard on “Street Kings,” featuring Yami Bolo, Junior Reid and Capleton.

Verse Simmonds - Gunstown

Repping USVI, Recording Artist Verse Simmonds has been keeping busy in his career, as well enhancing the careers of others. 2019 however, will find him in his “Rudeboy” element as he plans to flood the street with a lot of music. Today, “Gunstown” is one of the first few entries. Produced by Melvin Hough II and Rivelino Raoul Wouter a.k.a. “Mel and Mus“, Verse lets off a few rounds over some Reggaesampled production and lets listeners know what happens in USVI. Smoke some herbs to this one and let the lyrics paint a picture while the production will find you skanking a lil. Notnice presents 'Kyng Midas'

The album, Kyng Midas, is the producer’s debut non-riddim album that features 18 original tracks with some of dancehall’s top entertainers such as Sean Paul, Popcaan, Agent Sasco, Teejay, Bounty Killer, Dexta Daps, Rygin King, JahVinci and many more, some of whom gave energetic performances at Thursday’s Launch Event.

The album also features two new artists, Nordia Mothersille and Natural Flames. As a young producer himself who started and built from the ground up, it was important to Notnice to include new, young talent on the album and give them an opportunity to be featured alongside some of reggae and dancehall’s greats. This is perfectly in line with ONErpm’s commitment to uplifting, empowering and facilitating access for Jamaica’s upcoming artistes, producers and creatives through their extensive global network. This is why Notnice, who previously always distributed his music on his own, decided to partner with ONErpm on the release of this new album.

Notnice stated, “A lot of times Jamaican artistes and producers don’t know how to properly monetize their music. I’ve always distributed my own music but the platform that ONErpm has created and the added support and benefits for, not only me as the producer, but for artists themselves really sealed the deal for me in terms of this partnership.
