Runkus’ “99%.” is a trap x dancehall anthem for the rest of us. The lead single from Runkus’ upcoming debut LP, classisHim, “99%.” represents a new musical path for the Jamaican singer known for upful reggae tunes like “Move Yuh Feet” and “Run.” Tackling the global issue of financial inequality from a distinctly Jamaican perspective, Runkus delivers an impassioned yet playful lyrical performance over bouncy, trap-inspired production from fast-rising Jamaican producers iotosh and Kone. Striking just the right balance between serious business and lighthearted fun, “99%.” is truly an anthem for our times..

The album, Kyng Midas, is the producer’s debut non-riddim album that features 18 original tracks with some of dancehall’s top entertainers such as Sean Paul, Popcaan, Agent Sasco, Teejay, Bounty Killer, Dexta Daps, Rygin King, JahVinci and many more, some of whom gave energetic performances at Thursday’s Launch Event.
The album also features two new artists, Nordia Mothersille and Natural Flames. As a young producer himself who started and built from the ground up, it was important to Notnice to include new, young talent on the album and give them an opportunity to be featured alongside some of reggae and dancehall’s greats. This is perfectly in line with ONErpm’s commitment to uplifting, empowering and facilitating access for Jamaica’s upcoming artistes, producers and creatives through their extensive global network. This is why Notnice, who previously always distributed his music on his own, decided to partner with ONErpm on the release of this new album.
Notnice stated, “A lot of times Jamaican artistes and producers don’t know how to properly monetize their music. I’ve always distributed my own music but the platform that ONErpm has created and the added support and benefits for, not only me as the producer, but for artists themselves really sealed the deal for me in terms of this partnership. This is what we need in Jamaica, this is what the Jamaican music and entertainment industry needs. I’m excited to partner with them on this release and I’m looking forward to what this will do for Jamaican entertainers.”
Fyakin drops the album, ‘New Wave’, in August and we had the opportunity to talk to him on the phone about the project. Hear ‘New Wave’ on Spotify and our interview with Fyakin on Soundcloud

Singer and songwriter Var shares debut single and music video “Jah Love" on Hillsman Records in collaboration with Supow Music. The song features Var singing a beautiful psalm of praise about the infinite love of the Almighty. “Your love is perpetual, your love is so special, your love is forever, Jah”. The song is inspired from Psalms 23, which he paraphrases quite appropriately. Var says he is happy "Jah Love" is finally being released. “People know me from my work with the band Pentateuch Movement or Inna De Yard, but this is my first release as a solo artiste with my own production and label involved,” says Var.

Having dominating the reggae charts and receiving top streams in 2018 with hit single "We Pray" featuring Popcaan. Today, Jamaican born singer-songwriter and producer, Dre Island, releases his new single "Crazy". Produced by one of the most sought-out producers in Jamaica right now, Mastermind of MathsofMind Productions. Dre Island said this about this song, "Crazy is a love-sad song that brings love and reality to the relationship. It's about one person being crazy for something that
they could of had but now the opportunity is lost"
"Crazy" is the first taste of new music off of Dre's new project coming out at the top of next year called, Now I Rise.
"Lightning" is a classic down-tempo reggae love song with a modern update. With a sparse rhythm section featuring a live Hammond organ and rhythm guitar, joined later by live steel guitar, horns, and synthesizers, which build to a passionate crescendo. A love song for the ages, Mortimer sings his way straight into hearts with his romantic, heart-felt lyrics.
